INGREDIENTS• 2 cups whole wheat atta (flour) • Water — enough to knead soft dough
• ½ tsp salt
• 3 tbsp Zak’s Yard Natural Peanut Butter
• 1 tbsp honey (optional)
• Ghee or butter for frying
| METHOD1. Knead atta with salt and water into a soft, smooth dough. Rest for 10 minutes.
2. Divide into 4 equal balls. Roll each into a thin circle.
3. Spread 1.5 tbsp of Zak’s Yard peanut butter evenly on one circle. Drizzle honey if using.
4. Place the second roti on top. Seal edges by pressing gently.
5. Roll lightly with a rolling pin to flatten.
6. Cook on a hot tawa on medium heat with a little ghee until golden and crispy on both sides.
7. Serve hot with chai. Enjoy! |
